Monday started our final week together in Italy. The morning began as usual with class. And, as what was apparently becoming the usual in Rome, rain. It rained nearly all morning and afternoon! Pouring rain! However, by around 3 pm the rain had stopped, so Jayne and I decided to do some exploring. We wanted to visit some of the monuments we had not yet seen, and also return to some of our favorite stops. We also needed to do some souvenir shopping. We had an eventful evening, stopping many places and taking grand pictures. We saw the Largo Argentina, an Ancient Roman ruins site that I had learned about in class, which was very exciting. By evening we were absolutely exhausted and head home for some pasta.
